I believe meaningful adult learning experiences must solve problems and be measurable via business or life outcomes. I support relevant learning, just in time so adults can hone and utilize new skills for maximum retention. I seek data to measure success and consider ROI at the beginning and end of any learning campaign.
What makes me unique? I know the rhythm of a successful learning experience because I have over a decade of classroom and eLearning teaching experience, which includes teaching graduate students how to be effective instructional designers.
I led two media design teams and three instructional design teams. However, my greatest leadership accomplishment was leading seven teams of volunteers for four years. Successfully motivating people to do demanding work when they are not being paid informed and inspired my leadership processes and the importance of intrinsic motivation.
I hold a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership Technology, an M.F.A. in Graphic Design and a B.F.A. in communication design. Need more details? See my resume.
